Bienvenue! Rue de la Marguerite jewelry is designed using repurposed materials, specifically vintage watch parts, foreign coins and antique typewriter keys. Everything is handmade and committed to the concept of upcycling, which focuses on using found elements from past and present and breathing new life into them with fresh, innovative purpose. At Rue de la Marguerite, the old and unexpected is artistically transformed into stunning, wearable jewelry, and because of the nature of these vintage materials, each item is uniquely one of a kind.
Typewriter Series Redux
After the fantastic reception at the December shows to the Limited Edition Typewriter Collection, we decided to go treasure hunting for more antique machines. Brimming with inspiration, we disassembled clusters of vintage typewriter parts only to reassemble them into stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces. Nearly every piece of each machine has been repurposed, making this collection a remarkable presentation of upcycled design.
